Changsha Da-He-Xi District Government: Strategic Planning for Dawangshan Resort City (2011).
Bordering the famous Xiangjiang river and spanning over 40 sq.km. , the site is charactered by a hillish landscape and forests with some cultural heritage inside (of which a tomb of a reknown historic figure) that are interwined with industrial sites, in particular the mining farms and ruins. Sub-contracted by Hyder Consulting, Evering conducted market survery and analysis, proposed regeneration and tourism development strategy, and developed guidelines for masterplanning.
